ROV PILOT TRAINING    

Rov pilots trained at Ingenuent Rov pilot training centre (A subsidiary of Ingenuent Intitute Pvt. ltd.) is fully equipped with all the practical flying skills and theory subjects thus preparing learners for a rewarding career in the Rov industry. Emphasis is laid upon Rov piloting so that the candidate is ready to fly any mission on any job worldwide.Our ROV instructor has over 20 years of industry experience worldwide in the ROV industry right from Observation class ROVs to Workclass ROVs.Our training programs are conducted using state of the art simulator which has pre loaded underwater missions according to industry requirements . The simulator has both,Work-class ROV and Observation class ROV with 7 and 5 function Manipulators along with tooling such as laser scaler, CP probe, Water sampler, Suction dredge tool.

BASIC ROV FAMILIARIZATION TRAINING PROGRAM (NON IMCA)

This 3 day course is specially designed for those in the recreational diving industry wanting to explore the world of Underwater drones and Micro Rovs.

OVERVIEW:
ROVs are widely used in the oil and gas and marine sectors to accomplish tasks in underwater environments that are often too deep or too dangerous for human divers. ROVs are nothing without its pilots. An ROV pilot technician handles the operation, maintenance and repair of a ROV and its systems. INGENUENT ROV PILOT training program is a comprehensive training programme to develop future ROV pilots/technicians that are skillful, competent and market ready. The training program is structured and delivered through a combination of theory and hands-on exercises with focus on the practical elements of training, providing all the skills required by the industry.
Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the training program.The learners should demonstrate good handling skills of the observation and inspection Class ROV during different operational situation and tasks .

INSHORE ROV PILOT COURSE (NON IMCA)

This 2 weeks course has been created or those who intend to work in the Inshore Underwater Inspection industry such as Ship inspection, Dams and bridges inspection, Port inspection, Water tank inspections, Search and Rescue, Crime scene investigation, Film and documentary making, Aqua culture, Environmental survey of reefs etc.

OVERVIEW:
The INSHORE ROV PILOT COURSE is specifically designed for learners intending to work in the Inshore ROV industry viz Port and harbor inspections, Ship hull inspections, Dam and bridge inspections, Tank inspections, Ballast tank inspections, Crime scene investigations, Fishing boat inspections, Accident investigations, Sewage tank inspections, Power plant inspections , Search and rescue missions etc. The Simulator missions are specifically chosen to enable the learner to execute these missions with precision.
Objectives:
The objective of this training program is to equip learners with the optimum attitude, knowledge and skills to perform duty and task effectively and efficiently according to the best practice of international standards,so that they are able to establish expertise over the domain of underwater robotic works in conjunction to the offshore project requirements.

ROV INDUCTION COURSE AS PER IMCA R-002

The ROV Induction course consists of 4 weeks of realistic ROV pilot training as per Oil and Gas industry standards at IIPL, based in New Delhi, India. This is an intensive course with Aviation standards in ROV flying incorporated into the training modules. Students would have to work very hard in order to pass this course.

OVERVIEW:
To provide the best possible ROV pilot training in a realistic manner enabling candidates to enter the Offshore ROV industry with a sense of Self confidence and self-belief. Our center is equipped with a state of the art ROV simulator which has several pre-loaded missions with both Work class and Observation class ROVs. In addition, we also impart ROV pilot training in our dedicated swimming pool using an actual ROV equipped with a gripper arm for underwater tasks. Candidates shall be taught the ROV inspection standards that are current in the Offshore Industry for platform inspection, pipeline inspection, Drill support etc. Candidates flying performance shall be constantly assessed by our experienced instructors and de-briefed after every ROV mission so that they can improve their piloting skills. Apart from an elaborate set of Theory training modules from 1 to 11 that cover everything from offshore environment and safety to Basic Electronics, Basic electricity, Hydraulics, Fiber optics, Platform drawings, basic navigation, Sonar navigation, basic troubleshooting and fault finding , we also cover the workshop practicals like learning how to solder, use an insulation tester, fiber optic tester etc.

All our ROV instructors are highly experienced with over 3000 logged ROV piloting hours and are current in the ROV industry with the knowledge of the latest ROVs and sensors that are being used today in the industry.
Course Pre-Requisites :
• Must be above 18 years of age at the time of enrollment
• Have a degree or diploma or Ex military technical branch or vocational technical trade in any of the following fields
• Electrical
• Electronic
• Hydraulics
• Mechanics
OR
Have at least 3 years industrial experience in any of the above mentioned technical fields.
OR
A candidate with 12t science ( physics + Math) and at least 1 year of technical industrial experience .

Personal Qualities
Candidates should be switched On , enthusiastic, self motivated , good communication skills , extremely focused, a good team player and having common sense. A degree of physical fitness and good health is also essential to work offshore.

Duration:
4 Weeks Monday to Saturday 09:00 to 17:00 hrs.
Assessment
Trainees will be assessed from Day one by Training staff for both their flying skills and technical ability and their ability to work as a Team. There shall be a written exam, Oral and Group discussion at the end of each week . Simulator assessments shall also be carried out along with assessments for actual flying in the pool. Pass marks are 75% for all theory subjects and 100% for practicals and ROV piloting .
Completion:
Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance .
